Tips for Throwing the Purr-fect Cat Themed Party

If you love kitty cats, then we’ve got the purr-fect party theme for you!
To celebrate the arrival of our new cat-themed party supplies, we’re throwing a party with tableware, decorations and party food that are so cute, they’ll turn anyone cat-crazy!
And no, this party theme isn’t just for kids – it’s for cat-loving grown-ups too!
Party essentials
Let’s start with the essential things you’ll need for your cat-themed party, like plates, cups, napkins, tablecloths and cutlery. All of ours came from our range of “Purr-fect” party supplies and feature adorable kitty designs.
Our favourite item in this whole party has to be these adorable cat-shaped plates – it’s almost a shame to cover them with party food! We love the idea of scattering the table with a couple of balls of wool too – a cat’s favourite toy!

As for decorations, we’re in love with this cat bunting! It’d be super cute to hang along the walls of your venue, or behind the buffet table.

Once all your decorations are sorted, it’s time to think about party food! Not everything has to be on theme but it’s fun to add a couple of cat themed snacks to your buffet.
We LOVE this cat themed birthday cake – all you need is a plain white cake and royal icing to make ears and a face.
Or how about making some paw shaped cookies? You could even have a go at making some in the shape of a cat with a cat cookie cutter!
